Orange Vessel Cutting Boards

Introducing our new limited edition cutting boards just in time for the holidays. Hand made from thick, solid Silver Maple each one is unique and hand numbered in the order they were made. Thoroughly oiled, waxed and ready to use, these heavy duty slabs will last a lifetime with proper care. Locally harvested from yard trees that were originally destined for the wood stove, they were given a last minute reprieve by the warden so they could become part of your charcuterie dreams.

These are hand made in small batches just like our signature stoneware growlers.

The contrasting heart wood provides a beautiful two tone appearance with a single solid piece of wood. The large shown above is a big boy and weighs around 9lbs.

When my buddy Don asked if I wanted these for firewood, I just couldn’t muster the strength to send these to the log splitter.

These may actually grow on trees but I am not sure most people realize the amount of energy that goes into making something as simple a cutting board. Look at the amazing grain pattern.

Freshly cut green 2”x12”x12’ are much heavier than you might think. Added a nice new dent to the Chevy loading them…after drying them for entire year we were able to plane, cut, sand and oil them for use.

We have had the Orange Vessel “Brand” around for a couple of years just waiting for the right opportunity, 15secs and presto!

Each Orange Vessel Cutting Board is hand numbered in the order in which they were made.

We made a couple different sizes and they are going fast so get them while they last.
